    Zaino users question......

Yeah, it is tough to break old habits....lol. When you next wax your car, try to just put a dab on (the hood for example) and work it in quickly. I don't know if Sal uses this technique or not, ( I think I learned it from using a boutique wax, but it works well for me) work the Zaino in in...

What tires provide the best grip?

Completely depends on what you want and how much you are willing to spend. Go to: www.tirerack.com Spend some time reading the reviews and researching the surveys. They do not sell all brands, but their list is pretty inclusive. I can recommend the NT555s. They are a nice, inexpensive...

    Positve displacement supercharger Discussion

PS. Whipple is no longer affiliated with Lysholm at all. They produce their own compressors in house now. I can't wait to get some independant results once the tuners get their hands on these kits!

Ford Corporate Response to Price Gouging by Dealers

Mike, The quick answer to your question is that the dealership (i.e. the owner of that dealership) actually owns that car, not Ford corporate. If you had your car for sale in the paper and someone came to your house and showed you a Kelly Blue Book that said it was worth $10k less than you...

    Why so few orders?

Everything you said IS true. I know you are trying to help protect the Mustang loyalists, which is good. But I keep hearing the phrase "a fool and his money are easily parted," over and over in the back of my head. If some idiot is willing to pay me $20k to sell him my car and then wait and...

    Why so few orders?

Powerleases= ~250 (do not effect dealer inventories and were taken "off the top") All former SVT dealers get 1 additional.

    07 Shelby or 67 Fastback...decisions...

I see. Well, like I said. Restomods tend to be money pits. But if I had the connections you have I think I would go down that road. In five years the Shelby will be just another "Nice Car" like any other Cobra from years past. A '67 will always be a classic.

    07 Shelby or 67 Fastback...decisions...

From personal experience I can tell you that restorations tend to be a real money pit unless you intend on doing most of the work yourself. I'm not slamming you here, but if you can't afford to restore the '67 you probably shouldn't buy a Shelby either. However, if you can get one at MSRP, I'd...

Shelby GT500 order now in Ford's system!

What did you guys agree to pay? (MSRP, MSRP+AMV, etc.) The prices on Ebay are getting silly!

    Waxing help

+1 for Zaino. There are better "show" waxes to be had, but Zaino is the best for cars that see regular use IMO. :nice:

    S281E

If you are referring to the car sold at Barret-Jackson, he will. The auction proceeds were being donated to the CS Children's Fund, so it should be completely tax deductible. Not to mention he has a fully documented one of a kind car. that guy was not as dumb as some people might have you...

    S281E

I think we all agree that we can build a similar (if not better) performing car for the same or less money than Saleen/Roush, et al are asking. Ford Cobra/Shelby has made a much more affordable performer. But collectability is a direct reflection of availability, which is usually reflective...

    S281E

I'm not judging the cars one way or another. I was just comparing collectability. A 426 Hemi Charger ran like dookie on the street, but it's worth about 10X as much as a 440 Charger for collectability purposes.

    S281E

I think you can disregard the markups for having the first one on the block because it is true of both cars. Some people have more money than patients. :notnice: Not nearly. Check how many "E"s have been built over the last 5 years and compare that to the 10k Shelbys they are going to build...

    S281E

I'm assuming that most of us are in the same boat, in that we don't have the type of expendable income to spend $75k on a weekend car. I know I don't. But that doesn't negate the benefits that Saleen has: 1) Name recognition 2) Resale value 3) Collectability (especially on "E" models) 4) A...

A dealership was advertising on Ebay last week. They had six "E" models on order and two were pre-sold. I think all six were in the $70k range depending on options.
