Of course your ins co thinks its a GT, because their is no special VIN number for the Roush conversions, thats good anyways, less $$ for you to throw out, unless you insure through Hagerty or other co, then you can do stated value and they will know you have a special Mustang.
As far as value...
You wouldn't happen to have taken a pic of it would you?
Did it say 440A on it anywhere? Did it have a blower on it?
If it was a 440A it is 400hp and only 40 were built.
Kinda need more info on the car, but hey at least it was a ROUSH!! :hail2:
Love the way the site is setup, very easy to navigate and covers all the bases...except one. I don't see a discussion area for Roush Mustangs, but I do see one for Saleens. Just curious if there was a reason to exclude the Roush cars from the "special models" area? Not bashing at all, just...
Yea, go ahead and gear it, shouldn't be a problem. Dam nice notchback! I would keep it, two Mustangs are always better than one! Wish I woulda kept my first one, a 1985 SVO, I sold that thing with 60K miles on it, I do regret it :bang:
Well, I know I never get tired of my Mustangs, even pulling the car covers off and staring, or applying a fresh coat of Zaino. Enjoyment of Mustangs come in many different flavors
I drive alot for my job, so I putz around in a little Ford Aspire daily, so you can imagine what a V8 Mustang...
Hey congrats on the Mach 1! One of the best models to come out of the Fox generation. Yeah, the 4V seems sluggish on the small end, but give her some rpms and enjoy. A DOHC V8 has that sound that makes the little hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Enjoy! :nice:
Hey hows it going? Can't help you on Saleen folks, but I am up near Lima with my Roush and Mach 1.
There is a nice spring and fall all Ford swap meet in Columbus every year you might want to attend. Over in Indiana near Ft Wayne I believe they hold a Saleen only Mustang show in the fall of...
Another Ohio Stanger checking in. Current stable consists of Azure '03 Mach 1 and Yellow '03 Roush Classic. Don't let the newer rides fool you though, I once owned a 1985 SVO, old school at heart! :nice:
