    Changing tranny oil questions

Not to start an arguement, the reason I say pull the shifter. I was under the assumption you had ramps or maybe a set of stands. If you have it good and can put your car on a ramp, by all means thats the way to go, youll get the majority of the fluid out. I would imagine almost all. But if you...

    Changing tranny oil questions

Im sorry, I meant dont snake the hose to the fill hole on the tranny. Just take the shifter off and fill it from there. Also if you do a search most people run approx 3.1 or 3.2 quarts. Because I believe the manual tell you to use x amount of liters which equals 3.4 or 3.5 quarts. A lot of...

    Changing tranny oil questions

I have done this on my GT twice and on a MACH 1 twice. Dude pull the shifter and fill it from there. Dont try to snake a hose to the shifter. Its not hard to pull the shifter. Its so much easier than using the fill hole. Also put in some Lucas oil if you want to, cleaned my shifts quite a bit. I...

    Long tube question

I have a engine hoist , would it be easier to disconnect the motor mounts and transmission, hoist the engine out to install the headers. Then lower back in? I know I would have to disconnect the Radiator and isnt that about it? Has anyone tried this or have any input on the idea.

    Made the switch

:D I made the swith to Synthetic. I used Pennzoil 5-30, it was buy one get one free? With the morotrcraft fliter and a quart of Lucas full synthetic additive. My early morning piston slap went away my engine runs much smoother and quieter. Totally satisfied.

    Pulleys what is the difference

Go Steeda or go home. I put my steeda pullies in not too long ago. I think the biggest change has been in mileage. I took a 300 mi trip right after I did my install and I recorded a 1-2 mile a gallon increase. The car revs a little quicker, but no huge power gains. I havent used a tank in town...

    Videos of different exhaust combos???

I am thinking about making some changes. I got the itch. So I know long tubes but which ones? It might make a good thread if people put recordings of their cars and listed the exhaust combos. I know people describe their combos but audio would be fantastic. Also I have access to a engine hoist...
