    Sounds like the tranny. Check your trans fluid first. If it is full then you may be having a problem with the pressure plates or possible the torque converter. Good luck.

    If it is an aftermarket system that copies the OEM ford system then it should work. If it is just an aftermarket remote door lock like they have on car alarms then I would check with the manufacturer.

    Not sure if it works on all fords or not. I had to reprogram my remote twice and the dealer wanted $25 to do it. I found the program instructions online and I worked perfect for my mustang.

    Put the key in the ignition but do not start the engine. Turn it to accessory and back 12 times very quickley. You will see the doors lock & unlock. Press any of the buttoms on the new remote and it will program to the car. You can program more than one remote at the same time. Good luck.
