    Wax on chin spoiler

Try peanut butter. Its great. You don't have to worry about it bleaching the plastic out over time like the tire shine stuff and a lot of other products. Just dab it on and smear it around and wipe it off.

    Cooling problems

Took her out again today in the sun and heat and under normal conditions she drove pretty cool. Feeling pretty confident I decided to give her a beating. During this time she heated up to the top of the M at which point the thermostat opened up and she cooled back down to the R. She runs...

    Cooling problems

Nah, I've done it MANY times and have never had a problem. I cant' even count the number of times I've pressure washed it. Maybe because I make sure all my plug boots are pressed in firmly and don't directly spray the fuse box, the coil packs, or the maf. But my CEL is on... It's that pesky...

    Cooling problems

Went to the carwash and pressure washed my engine/radiator really well and so far so good. It was a tip from a ford mechanic buddy of mine. He said they typically see cars with so much gunk built up between the condensor and radiator that air flow becomes very poor. But its also night. I'll...

    Cooling problems

Yeah, I know... Its not a real gauge but whatever. It provides a reference point. My car ran really hot the other day so I decided to replace the thermo with a 180* thermo, and I also replaced the stock 140,000 mile water pump. Followed up with a radiator and a block flush. NORMALLY my temp...

    Cobra Brake Upgrade?

Slotted/Drilled is for street bling purposes only. In the beginning they were used to help rid the friction surface of gases that build up when pads get hot (typically in race situations). With modern pads, this is not a problem in any situation. Plus, you lose friction surface by...

    Cobra Brake Upgrade?

Make sure you get stainless lines. I did the swap about 2 years ago and have never looked back. (03 cobra brakes and russel stainless lines)

    cracked motor mount?

Those rubber mounts are 10 years old, go ahead and swap them both out and hit the tranny too while you're under there. They are most likely dead. With the 'safety' design of the mounts, there won't be a large amount of engine movement. Just imagine two chain links with rubber between them.

I got my Magnaflow catback for 275. :) :D Believe it or not, the stock catback sounds really good with just an o/r H or X pipe in front of it.

I've always had TSB's performed free of charge. Such as the intake TSB, the parking brake TSB, and a couple others. Actually, they went down the list when I took it in for the intake.
