    Which cam will work?

Many poeple just dont like alphabet cams and I think its generally because they are looked upon as old technology. I personally have run all the alphebet cams, some more than once and I have yet to not like one but thats not to say they are nessecarily better or worse. Any given combo might...

    *Mercury Capri* Headlight Mounting Panel

Well yes and no. They will phisically interchange but the center mouulding is different from 79-84 and 85-86. And I'm wanting to say that there are differenced in the 79-84 stripes that are in that moulding strip but not positive on that.

    *Mercury Capri* Headlight Mounting Panel

If your just replacing that plastic headlight panel and not the entire bumper cover, I believe any 79-86 capri panel will work. I totally understand your pain in locating Capri parts but I dont think there are any Mustang panels that will fit in the Capri bumper cover.

    thinking of going carb

You have obviously never seen an EFI guy try to tune a carb. Its like a monkey with an algebra problem:D

    thinking of going carb

I think the main advantages of carb are that you can make more power for less money. Not saying that a carb is more powerfull than EFI just that for a given power level it costs alot less for a nice carb setup than for an EFI setup. The other things I like are it really cleans up the engine...

    How to remove front clip?

You need to take the whole nosepiece off the car because the cover is sandwiched between the headlight panel and the fenders. Once its off the car then yes you just drill and unbolt.

    Pic of my car...

I know you said the aero nose wasn't your idea but you didn't say you didnt do it. Was it like that when you got it? I have the same problem with one of my Capris. Somebody put an 86 nose on it long before I ever got it. A Capri nose is tops on my list but they arent easy to find around here.

    lets build a 7.5

Name ONE. Thats in the eighth? There is a big difference in running a 10 once and having it "hold up". One good hook on a 7.5 has been known to send the spider gears through the back cover, why roll the dice?

    lets build a 7.5

I suppose the fistt quiestion would be why bother but for the sake of argument... Most 8.8 stuff with the exception of the center section is the same. Any axles or brakes that you would use on an 8.8 you could use on a 7.5. I dont imagine anybody makes a "good" carrier for the 7.5 because...

I actually like the FMS wires and have never had any issues with them but I have found MSD and Taylor are both top shelf in the wire department.

    4cyl LX to GT Brakes

Your freind is wrong....sorry. On earlier cars, the 4 and 8 cyl were all 10" rotors. I'm wanting to say it was 82-86 but may have been 83, not positive. Before that, there were even smaller 9" front rotors on 4cyl cars. From 87-93, 4 cyl cars still used the same 10" rotors as the earlier...
