Anyone in the Houston Area... help

Texas Auto Trim on Bissonnet did this type of work on a few of my friend's cars, and he was pleased with their work. May want to give them a call.

    Rotors: Best Bang for $$

I recently purchased a pair of zinc coated 13" cross drilled and slotted rotors on Ebay from Rotorworks for less than my Hawk HPS pads. They look and work great, and are hard to beat based on bang for the buck. I previously had Brembo drilled and slotted rotors, but so far these perform better...

On the north side of town, I would recommend Houston Performance on SH 249 just inside Beltway 8.

    15" skinnies

I assume you still had to grind the stock wheel studs with the 1" thick H&R spacer, since all I have found from them is the bolt-on type which doesn't completely cover the stock stud. Do you knock out the spacer studs and slip over 3.5" studs in the hub? If not, do you or anyone else have a...

    Where to find wheel spacer?

I cannot find a 1" thick hub-centric or lug-centric type (NHRA legal and non-bolton type) wheel spacer in order to use 15"x3.5" Weld front runners and clear upgraded 13" Cobra brakes on my '99 GT. I would rather not grind the stock studs as required for the bolt-on type, and would rather...

Wheel adapter vs. spacer for front runner?

Well, a little more information to add that I found on another forum: The bolt-on spacer/adapter (hubcentric type) needs to be thicker than using just a regular spacer with longer lugs, in order to extend past the stock lugs. Someone indicated their lug projection was 1.375" or 35 mm, so...

Wheel adapter vs. spacer for front runner?

Forgot to mention above, I realize that I need to remove the adapter when re-installing my regular wheels.

Wheel adapter vs. spacer for front runner?

I plan to install 15" x 3.5" Weld ProStar front runners using 1" thick wheel adapters (with lugs) in order to clear upgraded 13" brakes / Bullitt calipers, in lieu of using 1" thick wheel spacers and replacing the stock studs with longer ones. Anyone know or hear of issues with doing this? I...

Where in Houston to get longtubes done

Yes, as you probably determined, it included the entire exhaust system, parts and labor.

Where in Houston to get longtubes done

Houston Performance has reasonable prices and they do good work. I had BBK ceramic longtubes, BBK x-pipe w/cats, and a MagnaFlow stainless steel catback system installed for around $1,800 about 2 1/2 years ago. No problems with or passing inspections since. The only issue is minimal ground...
