Thanks for the response guys.....I went down Jimmy's list. The only thing I haven't checked is the fan motor and the thermostat....thermostat was changed 5000 miles ago in 05 (this isn't my daily driver). I am not very mech inclined, how do I check the amps? My mechanic, who I don't trust...

Anyone have any ideas? :(

I am having the same heating problem...on a hot day (over 85) and in traffic, the fan kicks in, but it doesn't cool the engine, it continually keeps slowly getting hotter. Any Ideas? :shrug:

I think I will keep it in there....when I removed the old one, I noticed the silicone grease wasn't put on there very generously, besides, that's the first time I ever did any work under the hood, so I am really proud...LOL :D . The turn signal doesn't blink on the dash or on the light it's self.

I am going to bite the bullet....I have the Haynes manual but it doesn't specifically show where the ignition module is located........anyone have a picture of where it is? Thanks for all the help you guys have given me. :)

Is the ignition module something that is easy to get to?....something I can fix myself? I have had to deal with a lot of crooked mechanics getting my Stang to top shape....I am kind of tired of them...:) I was quoted $700 to replace the head gasket, it seems a little steep to me.

I have been restoring a 92 LX hatchback for 3 years now......I am almost done, I had to do this slowly because I am not much of a mechanic, so I have had to pay my mechanic to do most of the restoration for me, I had a 87 in college, so I really wanted one of these...plus the person who sold me...

I really don't mean anything by this.....but maybe you should trade in the Mustang for a Cadillac. Mustangs aren't made to be luxury cruisers. :rlaugh:

My mech told me the oil pan looks clean.....but I did find in another thread that said it could be the rear lower intake seal....I am going to the mech this week to have that checked out. I know that seal is no big deal. :nice:

I found out they get stolen because the caps are discontinued.....IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT OTHER WHEELS!!!!!!!!!!!! :bang: There are places that have them for $50, but the newer mustang caps go for $20..(NOT FAIR)...I think I'll just get one and hang the 4 in my garage as...

Last night I had one of my pony wheel caps stolen....anyone know what other plain caps work other than the ones with the pony on them?.....I figure some plain ones that only say Ford won't get stolen. I will still replace the stolen one, but I will make room in my garage to store the car before...
