    Internal Selonoid

I have installed a new starter that has a solenoid attached to the starter. I ran the "S" terminal wire to the starter solenoid and ran positive battery post to starter. I ran a small jumper from positive to accessories as before. What do I run the "I" terminal wire to as it was on the old solenoid?

    Drivetrain Cable Clutch

I'm doing an automatic to T5 conversion. I have yet to install the clutch pedal. Would it be easier to install the cable bracket mechanism on the clutch pedal now or should I install it after I put the clutch pedal in?

    Drivetrain Spacer Plate

I'm doing a AOD to T5 conversion on my 68 coupe with 351W. Will the AOD spacer plate work with the T5? It appears all the holes line up with the exception of the starter bolts. Will I need a new starter? Do I really need a spacer plate?

    Drivetrain Transmission Support Brace

I originally had a C4 in my 68 with 351W and changed that out to an 89 Grand Marquis AOD (using the stock Torque convertor ). I pulled out my AOD last night getting prepped for a T5 conversion. Does anyone know if I can use the modified transmission brace from the AOD for the T5 conversion?

I have been recently contemplating changing my current PS system to a Rack & pinion but with all the different types of R&P on the market, I would like to get a idea as to which one is the best as far as ease of installation and quality of the kit. P/S Pump question

I have a power steering pump from an '87 Crown Vic that I have put into my 68 351W car with the original PS system. I had lines fabricated from the pump to the cylinder to get this to work. I have hedman headers which required me to use the PS ram drop bracket to clear the headers. My problem...

My kids have finally gotten past the "Car too Loud" for them and have realized that it is fun to drive in my car (I have 2 chamber flowmasters). The wife wants to be able to go out in the car together with the kids. What do you guys have set up for the child restraints in the rear of the car...

    Adjusting Master Cylinder rod

How do you and how much do/can you adjust the MC rod that goes from the power brake booster to the MC? My pedal bottoms out too soon and I'm guessing I can adjust this rod so that brakes work a little sooner in their travels.

I need some help with getting my gauge lights to work. The stock lights did not work prior to putting in new autometer gauges. I used the same blue wire w/red stripe for my power source but I'm getting no power through these wires. I changed out the light switch with a new one thinking this was...

    Rear end gear oil amount

I just changed out the third member on my 8" granada rear and filled it up with gear lube. WHat is the capacity of the third member gear oil? I put in a quart and it has not spilled out the drain hole yet. Is the 1 quart enough or do I need to add more until it overflows? Filling mine was a...

    Fuel Guage reading

I have installed a new after market fuel gauge into my cluster and have a question concerning the sensor for determining the amount of fuel in the tank. Ford gauges call for a reading of 75 ohms of resistence when empty and about 13 ohms when full. Do I hook up the multimeter (+) to the sensor...

    Speedo cable replace

I am about to change out the original speedo cable from my 68 coupe and noticed that it seems pretty difficult to remove from the firewall. My access to the firewall is obstructed by my Granade power booster and I have NO desire to remove the booster and MC for better access. Is there any...

    Rear end install (3rd member)

I am ready to install my new third member 8" rear back into the car. I have a new gasket and have purchased RTV sealant. My question is do I need to use sealant? Should I use only sealant or if I use both, where do I put the sealant in relation to the gasket, housing and third member? :SNSign:

Edbert, I am moving steadily with the Autometer gauge upgrade to my 68 coupe and have a question concerning the wiring of the gauges. Steering tightening

I have the original steering box in my 68 coupe and have read several times from people that there is some adjustment to these boxes that can be done to help remove some steering wheel slop (mine moves side to side 3 inches or so without moving the tires). Does someone have a diagram or picture...
