    Not enough HP for high stall converter??

    did anyone have to get a computer tune with their TC? I have 97 gt and put a PI multi-disk in and had to get a custom tune for it to work correctly. Just wondering if anyone else had to as well.

    How are these cams? xe278ah comp cams. I have the pi headswap in my 97 with 17cc dished pistons. Do you think that this combo would work well?

    Also when stoped either at the light or in park you can hear it rattleing as well.

    Its like a loud rattle. you can hear it the best at lower rpms. when you are lower rpms the cars also seems to buck a little. when you shake the driveshaft you can hear something in the tail shaft rattle as well. My dad drives a f150 with the same tranny and its driveshaft doesnt budge...

    what f there is more than that, it seems like i can shake it more than 1cm either derection. Plus is makeing the noise im hearing while im driving.

    Its not shaking around the rearend, it shakes right at the tailshaft of the tranny.

    Stroker kit plus a supercharger

    I really like my stroker motor, like you i was rebuilding it and just figured might as well. I dont have a supercharger though but i love the torque.

    when you are installing valve springs do you have to take the heads off or can you leave them on?

    I am not sure the hp im putting out with my stroker kit yet, im awaiting a dyno tune. But I love the new kick in the pants.

    can you run vt stage 2 n/a cams on with stock ports on your heads? I know you need springs gears, converter, and computer upgrade just not sure if you need a p&p job on the heads or if you can put that off for now.

    can u get mail order tunes that can fix this problem or do u need to actually get a dyno tune because i live at least 3 hours from a place that i can get that done.

    im not sure, if im just putting around it bucks and feels like its trying to shift on me. If im driving at a higher rpm it seems to run just fine. I was told a tune would fix the problem.
