Ill try to give my opinion regarding to the cars you are considering as I owned/rode in them. If you really want something with a supercharger on. then just go with the GT500. You don't want the headaches of modding a high compression car if you can afford a GT500. But then you should know...

around $34k mark , its pretty steep for a gt500 here but i just wanted this one and none else. had only 3000 miles and was garaged most of them , almost feel bad driving it. :D

thanks for the comments guys , its lowered 1.25 inch , only tune , cai and axle-back at this point but is a blast to drive :)

pretty nice looking and fits your interior well. i just swapped 99+ leather seats into my 97 mustang , gone from cloth with no power options to leather with full power options and recline... the difference in weight scared me.

check if it spins freely(by hand) and that there arent any scratching noise coming from the housing when you spun also that the pulley doesnt wobble all over the place. i hydro locked my motor before and the supercharger is still as good as new , vortech units are pretty stout.

bad night? humid? hot? many things could contribute to the loss of a tenth , supercharged cars are extremely sensitive to weather changes and i know this first hand , i beaten my friend's GT500 in my car every single time i raced him depending on weather it would average from a car length to 3...

hopefully you paint that hood soon , otherwise it looks like a very nice car , shame that the sleeper looks are gone now , was really a nice touch to the car :)

your lucky its a seized bolt , my Granteli plenum snapped in half :) for some reason unknown to me , they use different size bolts with different hight than stock , not only the stock ones wont go in , they will snap the plenum if you over do it. the bolt will come out with some effort , either...

oh take what i say with a grain of salt , your combo is unique and i would like to see what you put down , i am just tossing a number and an estimation , the 4.6l 2v never seizes to amaze me lately , let alone a 5.0l 2v :) keep us posted , you might want to consider water/methanol cooling if...

that's an awesome build plan , i think you will be around of 580-590 rwhp , and you will bottleneck the fuel system or max the supercharger at one point.

the car is a 1997 NPI mustang gt , i was over taking someone and down shifted to 3rd ran it to 5.5k rpm and shifted into 5 and when i was coming out to a turn slowing down , the car started knocking below 2k rpm , the knock goes up slightly with rpm but completely disappear past 2k as if it...
