The FRPP springs lowered my Mustang GT the full 1.5" at all 4 wheels. I also had installed the FRPP swaybars (middle setting on the front SW bar - there are three holes to adjust the amount of sway), but kept the OEM struts. Rides firm, but compliant. I also installed the FRPP 18x8.5 Black...
After reading the article, I started doing a little rough math on the rearend and transmission ratios. That is the only reason the Vette beat the GT500. (Ok...weight, tires and ride height too.) It would have been equal or probably a little bit faster with similar gear ratios. But consider...
I have a new in the box set of the Steeda CMCP's that I am not going to install on my 05' GT. I am going with the Whipple SC soon, so they will not be used. E-mail me at: [email protected]
$200.00 + shipping. I paid the same when I bought them.
I have the 18" Black Bullitts from FRPP I just installed last week. Will post a picture tomorrow. Ford has a wheel viewer for the 05'-07', but it's just a semi-cartoon. The 18" Bullitts do not have as large an outside rim look to them. About a 3/4" aluminum edge (no outside weights showing)...
Most tuners (re. DSP & SCT) have canned tunes for CAI's, CMCP's but these are for the intake side of the engine (They both allow for changes in gears & tire/wheel size changes too). In other words what is coming into the engine (air and fuel) and do not take into account exhaust (re. headers...
I have seen the LLG w/white stripes that look great. Painted on. Try this link for a way to try different colors on your car's color.

When I bought my Borla's earlier this year, the round mufflers were the only ones available. I like the look and sound, although I have not heard the retangular version muffler. You really need to get the complete setup from the cats back. It consists of exhaust tubes from the cats to the...
Borla has some clips on their Cat-back system on their web site. (or used to have them??) I have had the Borla Cat-back's installed for 3500+ miles now (since Mar). I still love their sound. Not too loud, no real droning at cruise, at WOT really show their presence, etc.... They seem to give...
What kind of tuner are you using? Diablo Sport Predator (DSP) or SCT Xcalibrator I or II? Each has good customer support to help you straighten out your problem. I have not installed my IMRC's from Steeda due to not enough time. But most people have not had problems using either of the above...

The part number in the catalog is the only one I found. It may take...
Here is a link for the '06 Mustang Accessory Catalog. There is an item in it that allows you to hook up an MP3 player to the Shaker system. I believe you can also hook up a satellite radio to the plug as well. Will try to find out if this works with the '05's or not...
With the Diablo Sport Predator...it stores the OEM tune first and then you follow the directions it gives to load the new tunes. By storing the OEM tune in the DSP, it then locks the DSP to your car. There are several optional tunes:
- 87 Octane tune
- Factory Performance tune
- 91 Octane...
Go to the link below for a look at Ford's Wheel Pit to see how some of their available wheels look on the GT. Also pay close attention to the Mustang they are using for the model.....The upcoming (?) Cobra GT500

Rather interesting choice...
Bobbys9350,
One of the problems several of us have had with the Predator is loading the updates to the DSP. Mostly this seems to be operator error and not the DSP. However, the instructions to download into the DSP the new update or custom tune are lacking. What I found to work best for me...
I bought the Predator right when it came out. No issues from day one! I have the Steeda CAI & 91/93 Octane tune for it installed. I have read here and elsewhere pros and cons on both the DSP and the SCT I & II. The DSP was recommended by my Ford Dealer Service Tech as the one they have seen...
