    replacing head studs

thats kinda what i was thinking. I think ill just pull the valve covers and check the torque to make sure nothing loosened up and then ill just get a new set when the heads come back off. Ill probably be upgrading heads within a year or so unless i blow her apart sooner. LOL Thanks for the...

    replacing head studs

i must be a little dumb, what is the resoning for the oil drain? Do the oil passages actually go into the threaded holes for the studs somehow? Which plugs on the block are you referring to for draining? Also whats the reasoning for the higher torque of the upper bolts? Lastly, do you think...

    replacing head studs

I'm currently running gt40p's with ARP head bolts and 6psi of boost. I will so be increasing the boost level. I was told that I should look into replacing them with head studs instead. I was hoping to be able to replace one at a time so I wouldn't have to pull heads and replace the head...

    Another HP guestamate!

i think money would be best spent elsewhere... I don't think your going to see drastic improvements with that cam because of the heads. If your on a budget, pick-up a set of gt40p's, and use a TFS1 and you'll see an easy 30-40 at the wheel...

    v3 vortech alignment issues?

Anyone install a v3 vortech setup on a 87-93 fox? I'm having alignment issues on the serpentine setup and some of the directions seem a little vague from Vortech. My issue lies somewhere with the tensioner and the a/c idler. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Jim

    Vortech Problem

as it turns out, i guess it would be important for your tuner to know the difference between 10* after TDC and 10* before TDC; which also would explain why he burned the finish off my $350 headers...

    Vortech Problem

i would think that if it was clutch related it would be making some noises or something, no? I know the rear is fine because it was rebuilt and leaves nice dual patches... i'm starting to wonder if it's in the tune as well...

Hi all, I'm having a problem with my car since i have installed a new Vortech V3 setup. I brought it to get dynoed after it was put on and only made 15 more horsepower than i did before(went from 265 to 280) and I should be making much more than that. it makes 6 lbs of boost. It runs well...

Taurus fan guys in here...pics please (other e-fans too)

um, I believe it was a 93 V6 I pulled it out of... I'm only running it on low speed and it cools perfect... using a flexalite fan temp control and a universal 30 amp relay from napa. It required some minor trimming and then i made 2 brackets that run the length of each side top to bottom and...
