    yea you will need to take the door panel off. Are you sure your handles have bolts? I had to drill out the rivets on mine.

    On my 88 I used pin 29 (Dark Green/Pink wire ) you can also use Pin 43 (Dark Blue/Lt Geen wire) on the computer.

    mine is like that also, I think saleen or autometer did make a contoured one at some point in time
