    Another plus for the Jet, tho, is that's it's easier on the warranty. Jet claims it will not void it, but you can easily play it safe and pop it out much more easily than changing a custom tune before going to the dealer. IMO

    I have a K&N with Flowmaster axel-backs, no tune. Sounds great, noticeable power improvement, and maybe 1 - 2 mpg increase. Now easier to get 25 mpg h'way.

    I have one good 10", and it's plenty. It's powered by 2 channels of a 50wpc 4-channel amp, and does just fine (of course that's underrated continuous rms sine wave power). Clean power (immeasurable distortion) makes all the difference. IMO

    I went to an acquaintance general contractor/carpenter with the recommended manufacturer specs for a box: 12" X 12" x 10" deep (for my 10" sub), 3/4" MDF. 20 bucks! Make sure you build it to mfr. specs.

    If the amps try to draw too much power from the electrical system, the lights will dim. Avoid buying an amp rated at 14v or more; a car battery (and electrical system) runs at 12v. I'm running 2 4-channel amps and have no dimming, but they run at rated output on 12v. Make sure you use 4-guage...

    I used Blizzaks all winter with a sandbag over each rear wheel in the trunk, upstate NY and, yes, we get some snow here, too. No driveablility problems whatsoever, altho I saw boatloads of SUV's in the medians. It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it. IMO

    Mine's an 05, but this may help: find where the antenna wire goes through the firewall and cut the grommet just a bit to feed a wire through. Depending on what you're powering, one 4-guage should be plenty.

    There's something within bass response called "cabin resonance," and has something to do with rattle when the sound waves created are the same length as the enclosure (the car). Try a decent equalizer to roll off the bass between 80 Hz and 120 Hz. This will usually take care of it. IMO

    Thanks for the comments, all; so it appears to be "characteristic of the car" and thus not a problem any dealer is willing or able to fix (at least until enlightened by a TSB). Doesn't seem right, though..... IMO
