So applied 2 coats to the hood, got questionable spotty coverage over most of the hood. The only spot that looks good is an area in the center that had bare metal and glaze applied. the rest has rustoleum primer on it sanded . Any thoughts, should I not prime?

So my 66 is down to bare metal, So I was thinking about the roller method. I figured on using rustoleum auto primer in a can, guide coating sanding filling any low spots re priming with a guide coat and when smooth proceed with the roller application. Does this sound like it will turn out...

Soooo, would you put a vinyl top on a coupe that did not origionaly have one? I say a picture of a silver/green 66 with green and white interior. The top was white. Am I crazy?

Is single stage paint as forgiving as some people say especially in red. I am considering spraying my 66 myself. I sanded to bare metal, use a epoxy primer then will use a filler primer to smooth everthing out.

I am sandblasting (and it sucks) surface rust off the stang, it rusted after I had stripped it last summer and put a light coat of primer on it. My question is is there omething I should wash it with prior to putting primer on it to keep from having a rust problem if there is any spores...

Looking for the best way to remove the side, wing and windows in the doors? Taking the 66 for paint and I have to remove everything. Any tricks to removing the front bumper? I can't seem to get it out, with the bars that connect it to the frame are at an angle.

Do you have to apply filler to bare metal or can it go over primer?

I have a clear filter and my tank is pretty much empty and I don't see any rust in the filter

So in taking the paint off the 66 I notice multiple areas with filler, I believe they are all thin smoothing fills, but I don't know for sure. Do I have to remove it? I am leary because I don't know for sure what is underneath the filler and I am no body man. thanks
