    I believe FMU's are only ok if your 8psi or less on a mostly stock motor. Just for reference I had a BD-11a making only 7psi, and on my basic bolt on, stock longblock, full weight vert I was running 13.0's at 110.

    I actually dont think those look that bad compared to some others Ive seen. I looked at the customers cars and they all look good to me. I say do it. If they had smoked ones like that i would run them with my smoked ultra corners.

    I know its not from today, just wanted to whore it out since I haven't driven it in a while. I want to get 2 inch drop spindles so I can put the stock springs back in the front and Im gonna drop the rear another inch, but I have to roll the fenders and BFH the inners to tuck the tire.

    90 ft lbs on a bolt is far less clamping force than 90 ft lbs on a stud. It looks to me as though your head lifted. I had the same problem on my old motor, happened twice then I swapped in head studs and it didnt happen again.

    Depends on how many performance parts you already own for a 8.2 deck weather there is a break even point or not. You can spend a lot of coin in swap parts if you already own nice 8.2 stuff. If you have to buy it all from the beginning then the 9.5 makes better sense.

    You bet Rick, last year at this time I was trying to figure out how to buy a set of TW 205's. Now I see these heads will meet my goals for the car NA. Im considering running some PAC springs to for a little more stability above 6500. Heck Im still running the stock pulleys and clutch fan.
