    BRAKE QUESTION 78KC

I have a 78 KC and recently the brakes are giving me trouble. Here's what is happening. The pedal feels ok when you mash the brakes but if you keep pressure on the pedal, it slowly goes to the floor. Would I be correct to assume that the master cylander seals are bad and not holding? The fluid...

    EXHAUST 78 KING COBRA 351W

Hello all, It has been some time since I have logged on or had time to work on my 78 KC. I installed a 351W with headers. The headers I bought are headmans made for a 302. I cut them and extended the tubiing to make it fit the 351W heads. Here is my dilemma, It all fits but the exhaust sits...

    What 9" will fit a 78KC

Front rack "wobbly" on 78 KC

I noticed the front tires have excessive wear on the outer sides of the tires and when the car is up on a rack, you can move the whells back and forth slightly. (one side more than the other) Is the rack rebuildable or do I need to replace it? If I need to replace it, does anyone have a...

    Wiring question 351W swap

Ok, One more thing. I bought a new 1 wire alternator and the 351W I am putting requires only 2 wires, a gound and a positive for the ignition. It looks like I can get rid of most of the spaghetti in the engine bay and simplify this thing BUT, I didnt want to screw anything up. Hers the...

Almost Done! 351W swap Hoo Haaah!

Well, I am almost done and have documented everything I have done. I can probably create a book from this major PIA swap.. I can honestly say that the worst part of this has been the headers. But once again I am almost there. I decided to wrap the headers after I trial fitted them a few times...

    Man, What a pain! 351W

Well, Another update on the 351W swap. The headers have really been holding me up. I finally got them done and it looks nice.( I wrapped them in thermotech wrap to keep the engine bay heat down) I ordered the headman 302 headers and with a little patience they work. I had to lengthen the...
