    New Member Seeking Advice

Low mile '13-14 GT premium can be had for low 20s or high teens. Awesome cars and are the best looking of the modern mustangs IMO.

    Engine Best Cam For Application?

I ran MHS stage 2 NA npi cams in my '98. With stock midpipe, stock intake tube, stock NPI heads, and PI manifold it made ~240 rwhp and ~290 rwtq on a Dyno Dynamics dyno which run lower than mustang dynos. However it ran high 13s in the 1/4 and I never lost a street race. From a dig it was a...

Build Thread 1978 Mercury Cyclone. The pig is in the pen.

MSM did the same when Obama was elected. They said those that voted against the change agent were racist.

2007 Mustang Gt Dyno Numbers Too Low?

No, CAI does nothing, literally nothing with your other mods. Also alum ds and coil don't add anything. Stock S197 4.6s dyno 270-280 rwhp. With a tune and off road mid-pipe I'd say you're right on the mark.

    Is My New Gt Overheating?

Yep, my '13 will hit 205* cyl head temp on the highway in 50* weather. Nothing to worry about. Hot rodding the 5.0 in the summer heat I've only ever seen 220*... Basically it's meant to run around 200* head temp when fully warmed up

    Rear Brake Wear?

The rotor itself is clearly undersized or the caliper is mounted too high. My advice, measure the new rotors. Rears on a 2001 are 11.65" in diameter. If the rotors you have are that size then I'd question if the caliper is bolted in place properly. You said you tried moving it around... Did...

    Rear Brake Wear?

Common problem for one or both caliper pins to seize up and cause uneven wear to the pad/rotor. Same thing happened to my '98 and actually burned an entire brake pad down to the metal backing plate. To fix, remove caliper, pads, and glide pins, lubricate areas the pins pass through, replace...

    Steeds Vs Bama

The 98s need a different speedo gear or a Dallas speedcal. Unfortunately you can't correct the speedo post gears with a tuner.

    Steeds Vs Bama

You may be right, I've very little experience with autos, mine had the t45. That said, aren't there some shift kits you can install for much less than the tuner?

    Steeds Vs Bama

What mods do you have, honestly a tune won't do chit for a mildly modded '98. With MHS stage 2 n/a cams, pi intake, full exhaust, UDPs I put down 237 rwhp and 290 twtq on a dyno dynamics after the tune. Before the tune it was 225 rwhp. So basically I picked up 12 rwhp from a dyno tune with...

Considering Buying A 2011 Mustang Gt 6mt W/ The Brembo Package At 49k Miles. Thoughts And Pros/cons?

I've definitely had some missed shifts into third at full throttle, but you just need to learn the car. The trans in these cars likes a deliberate shift into third and when you nail it right you can chirp the tires

Considering Buying A 2011 Mustang Gt 6mt W/ The Brembo Package At 49k Miles. Thoughts And Pros/cons?

    * No issues other than rear diff leaking due to poorly designed vent * 2013-2014 Mustangs received some updates to the engine. Specifically, Ford ditched the oil cooling jets and added the low friction piston coating from the Boss 302. That's the only difference I believe and bumped HP a bit...

Repair Of Light That Projects Image Of Mustang?

Need to buy replacement bulb. They're cheap now, (I think less than $25) entire unit snaps in. Both my puddle lamps were distorted but I bought new lamps and all is well. As said above, warranty should fix

    Roush Axle-back Mufflers??

Won't get any power changing the after cat pipe. Lt headers and catless midpipe would add power but then you'd have a smelly exhaust... I had a catless midpipe on my '98 and never again would I do that. If youre looking for sound gt500 mufflers are great, if they aren't loud enough you can...

Both of you read and take the advice seriously. It will do wonders for your understanding of one another. Cannot stress how great this book is.

Progress Thread My Kenne Bell Twin Screw'd Foxbody thread, (new addition to the family)

Before anyone gets a divorce I'd highly recommend both husband and wife read the five love languages by Gary Chapman. It's wonderful stuff about relationships and isn't necessarily very intuitive information. Wife and I have always had a great relationship, however after we each read it on our...
