    Oil capacity... two different answers.

    Keep in mind that your capacity might vary a bit based on the size of filter you have on there. If you have the Motorcraft, that's a bigger filter than most and will hold more oil. If you have the piece 'o crap Fram, well, take if off immediately and get a Motorcraft...

    Keep in mind that different filters have different capacities... not much, but different. I stick with Motorcraft FL-820S and MC 5w-20 oil (semi-synthetic!). MC makes a great filter. They've got all the right stuff in there. Also, if you want to be a total "oil freak", fill your new filter...

    Speaking of the antenna, I bought a cheap aftermarket antenna..... little piece of crap.... now that I install it, if I take it out it leaves a bolt stuck down in the antenna mount, so now I can't take it out and put the original back in, blah, blah... The antenna itself is not the problem...

    Update: I finally was able to take off the MAF and look at it. Looks very clean to me! So, I was wrong to blame the K&N. Must just be bad gas and/or hot temperatures.

    OK, but I have started using higher octane gas, and it pings now even in the morning when it's in the 50's or 60's.... it just "started" pinging when the weather got hot, that's some of the reasoning behind my theory......... Any suggestions as to a cleaning solvent? Alcohol?
