Need help running VIN # on Ford's line.

That's about the time it left the factory headed for a boat in Baltimore. I suppose the agency I'm buying it through is some sort of middle man as opposed to a dealer. They keep telling me it's in Bremerhaven and has exited Customs therefor it should show up real soon. When the ships come in...

    Bicycle transport issue?

Both Hidden Hitch (part number 60809) and Draw Tite (part number 24747) make a hitch for the new Mustang. Look at etrailer.com for the prices.

Fitment Problem with Strut Brace and Intake Cover

That's what I want. I was going to have the brace painted to match the car (redfire metallic) and buy one of the silver looking covers and put one of the stars and stripes ponies on it.

Fitment Problem with Strut Brace and Intake Cover

Has anyone tried one of the Intake covers with a strut tower brace. I've seen photos of the braces and there doesn't seem to be much room for one of the new covers I've seen advertised. A cover for the intake and new valve covers will really clean up the appearance of the engine compartment...

    Waiting On Your 2006 Order?

I finally have a VIN. I understand she's been built and is awaiting shipment to the Port. I anticipate getting her by October 1st. By the way, I ordered my 2005 (now a 2006) GT Premium Convertible with Auto, IUP, Redfire Metallic, Medium Parchment Interior and Convertible top, and side air...

    Finally got Build Date!!!! 07/25

I also received a letter from the agency I'm buying the car through saying that they didn't get the order completed in time to get in this years production. I would rather have an 06 as the 05 model year is gone.

    Convertible Top

Hey Mannheim, I'm just down the road from you in Hockenheim, actually I bought my car from Eddie Kane probably where you bought yours. Mine is not due until October but I'm looking forward to getting it. Thanks for the info.

    Convertible Top

Thanks, that was what I was hoping someone would be able to tell me. Cruising speeds on the Autobahn are considerably higher than they are on the Interstates and my LX convertible tends to get quite noisy over 85 or so.

    Convertible Top

Maybe I wasn't specific enough. My 90 LX convertible top has the bows exposed but I've had convertibles in the past that had an inner liner (and possibly some insulation) that both covered the top bows and also made the car as quiet as a coupe while traveling. How is the new mustang...

    Convertible Top

I'm seeing conflicting info about the top in the car mags. Most say that it is a multi layer without exposed framework but the latest one said that it was a single layer and the bows, etc are exposed inside. Which is the truth? The multi layer will definitely be quieter for my Autobahn...
