I suppose, by this argument, we should be looking at something like (HP*Kg)/L. An interesting formula, but output efficiency has traditionally been measured in HP/displacement, like you mentioned. If someone had the mass numbers of the 4.6 and the LSx, it would be interesting to see these...

I think I remember a discussion on this awhile back... Is Zaino safe to apply over vinyl stripes? Not that the stripes necessarily need to be coated, but it would mean I could be a little less careful around them. Would a coat a Zaino make bugs and dirt wipe off the stripes easier?

I'm guessing that mine may have the least distance to travel in this group? It's only a 3+ hour drive to Detroit from here.

Finally had a chance to call my dealer today. He said my car was built and is scheduled for delivery ... TOMORROW! He also said that he wouldn't bet on it. It would more likely be another week or so.

Of course, if the Zaino protection really lasts that much longer, the end cost might end up being a wash ... no pun intended :rolleyes:

I agree that quality is subjective. I deal with quality issues every day, where one person has a complaint about the product, and someone else loves it. I guess I've never considered Ford craftsmanship 'cheap', but having never owned a $40k car, I don't have any experience with the materials...
