    I dont know anything about the Mac system but I have the Flowmaster axel back system. Think of how the stock mufflers sound on a GT( if you have heard them), the flowmaster is just a little louder at idle and has that bigblock sound at full throttle, kinda that tuned raspy sound I guess...

    If I remember right there should be some old post about this issue, I know one of the remedies was to get the steeda motor mounts which don't allow the eng to move as much from side too side hence keeping the headers from contacting the steering colum. good luck.
