In all honesty, dropping the K member was easy once we saw the big picture. 6 bolts, a floor jack and a long 2X6 board. Made it nice and easy to throw the headers on and provided realativly easy access to all the bolt holes.

Sneaky - The place I bought the headers from issued an RMA and are going to issue a refund when they recieve them back, so were good there :)

Stock wheels with Toyo Proxies. Track is 90ft above sea level. Car runs great as far as I can tell. Feel’s stronger than it ever has, especially with the 4:10's.

I called the shop that performed the install and they want me to bring it in after I put 500 miles on it. The'll replace to the fluids and check all the spec's, backlash etc. Bad news is that won't be until April when I start driving her again...but there cool with that so we'll see :shrug...

To fix and paint the door and repaint the hood cost me 375. I've known the guy for awhile so im sure it would have been more if i brought it to another autobody. He said it would have normally been about a grand with prep paint and clear for both.

The entire hood was repainted the brown and black then cleared. So its a ful gloss like the rest of the car.

I owned a 89lx with a swap from a t-coup and it started missing whenever I had it at WOT after 3k. Turns out the distributer came loose and the timing was off around 8 degrees. Just my personal experience, hope it helps.
