    What Gears Do I Need?

Sounds like you are describing wheel hop. I would look at the rear suspension first and see if it still have the factory lower and upper control arms.

New Steeda Rear Chassis X-brace - Keeps Rear Seats!

If you've eyed our rear X-brace which was more cost effective than the Laguna Seca brace but still required a rear seat delete you either didn't want to do or did but didn't want to pay the cost of the Boss parts, we now have an alternative that not only lets you keep the rear seats in place...

    I need some CAI advice!!

Yes we do work closely with Ford. The attached picture was taken at Ford Motor Company, months before the 5.0L ever hit the streets. We flew an engineer up to Dearborn and were allowed access to pre-production cars for fitment of components that we had in the engineering stages. This would not...

    Steeda vs Bama custom tunes

The FRPP tune wont support the Boss intake modification he wants to do, that requires significant calibration changes. Like Long Stroke mentioned we have over 17,000 fairly abusive miles on the our car with the same calibration me mail order to our customers with zero issues. If you search...

    Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter Install question

Did the shifter come with some dynomat? All our latest Tri-Ax's have a small bit of this to reduce this kind of NVH.

    S197 PINION ANGLE

I was having this conversation with one of my tech's today and I thought it would be great to post here to help others. We were discussing how you can make a mistake measuring pinion angle on the S197 axle assembly. The S197 axle housing has a large flat beneath the pinion snout. That flat...

    Rear Suspension Help

Bind is a legitimate concern, our bushing design is in response to this and is meant to be the best compromise possible for street and occasional track use without introducing NVH into the vehicle. Its not perfect, but it was and still is an effective, practical solution that will have no noise...

    Rear Suspension Help

Incorrect, our 3 piece bushing design is alive and well, and has been over the 12 1/2 years I've been here and well before that.

    Control arms on a budget?

Road noise is NVH, but, the bushing package is the cause of that, not some flaw in the design the arm. You have less isolation when one of the bushings is solid.

    Control arms on a budget?

Your example is exactly what makes it relevant instead of making it invalid. When you pay for a Dart block and you get more than what you get for paying for a stock block, that is exactly the point of this comparison. You have just proved my point for me. Now I understand you are not convinced...

It would be PM if I tell you, I am not going to bash someone like that in public. Not very professional.

    Control arms on a budget?

You are missing the whole point. You can't see the difference in wall thickness and material between the 2 pieces? Extra reinforcement in a high stress area on ours, 3 piece bushings design? Its all there if you look. It is all about construction and design. I find your response quite...

Best upgrade I can buy to transfer HP to the road with a 2012 5.0?

Control arms should be the first thing to look at. You can also experience lateral movement from the deflection on the panhard bar but your situation sounds like bushing/control arm deflection to me.
