Would a faulty switch cause this? The car starts and everything else seems to run fine. Thanks for the reply

    Electrical Ignition Cylinder

Hey guys. I've been having a little problem with my power windows/trunk release. At first it seemed that they would not work if the car was running, but after some playing around I figured out that the ignition cylinder has to have a slight bit of pressure on it (just enough to push it towards...

    Why upgrade the alternator?

I found the educational experience to be well worth it, at the time that I did mine. Plus not having your headlights dim, on cold rainy nights, everytime you touch the brakes is a bonus. I have no stereo and a stock fan and I still would do it again.

    Brake bleeder screw

The speed bleeder screws have a small ball and spring in them that only allows pressurized fluid or air to be forced out of the valve in one direction. Remove the pressure and the valve shuts. You bleed your lines just like you would with two people, but instead of closing the valve on each...

    Who has KYBs or Tokicos?

I replaced my KYB GR-2's for a set of used Tokico HP's and I am much happier with the Tokico's. Ride and handling feel much better.

    Brake bleeder screw

Thanks, might be the time to install speed bleeder screws. The wife wasn't too thrilled to be my brake buddy.

    Brake bleeder screw

I was able to get the valve loose with a stripped nut remover. Is it just as simple as removing the valve, replacing it, and then just rebleeding that side?

    Brake bleeder screw

Hey guys, I was attempting to bleed my brakes, but when I got to the driverside front (always has to be the last one) I found that the bleeder screw was rounded off. Whats the best way to replace this? Will I have to bleed the whole system again or just that one? Thanks guys.

Lets compare the New 2005-2008 Stangs to the Fox stangs...

I deny the possiblity that almost 30 years of advancement would net us a better car...

    Karma is a biotch

That sucks. Report him to his boss. Thats his job, to get off his ass and check. Hell if he just did rounds, I bet thiefs would go prowl somewhere else. Why pay for useless security.

teen driving survey for school...25 year olds and up please!!!

PM sent, you should probably change "do you ever" to "have you in the last ____" some of my answers aren't really accurate to describe my average driving habits.

    cold air kit

Not that I recommend switching from the stock airbox for any other reason than looks, but a CAI that places the filter in the fender also helps prevent "fan wash" from messing with the MAF readings, which can cause erractic idles and such.

Source for "lip" spoiler for a notch?

I'm not a huge fan of spoilers on notches either, but I was looking for way to get a third brake light back on my coupe. The whole rear was taken out and a bulkhead was installed. Problem is the ASC spoiler is $$$ becuase it was only made for that limited run of foxbodies.
