Anyone Running Spicer 1350s on their Driveshaft

As in the title - anyone running Spicer 1350 u-joints (or equivalent) on their driveshaft? I've changed my rear end yoke to accept the 1350 size and will soon upgrade the drive shaft, but I can not find a t-5 transmission conversion yoke that uses 1350s (only 1330s). Anyone have experience?

So which is generally preferred with a T5z swap in an early Mustang? I leaning towards the spacer because I have recently upgraded my clutch and pressure plate and have a Lakewood scattershield, but if switching to the newer bellhousing is preferred I will research it more. To install the...

    Header Selection for Stroked 302

Does anyone know who would make or where to find a set of full length headers to fit a stroked 302 in a 1966 Mustang with Canfield heads (exhaust port raised 0.400")? Also would be nice to fit them on my 1967 when I switch motors down the road. I would like 1 3/4" primaries or stepped 1 3/4"...

Pic Request: Rear End Vent Tube Fitting on a 1965/66

Could someone help me find the location on a 1965/66 rear end housing where the vent tube fitting comes out of the rear end? I replace my 1966 8" rear end with a 1957 9" rear end (the 8" is long gone). The vent tube fittings are in different locations on the rear end and I had to make custom...

Leaking Gear Fluid at Rear Wheel

It looks like gear oil is getting pass the axle seal in the 9” big bearing rear end (both sides), but only leaking on one. Is it normal to have gear oil leak pass the axle seal and get stopped by the flange seal? Both axle seals are new and the axle surface shows no grove in it. When...

Fixing Poorly Made Fiberglass Parts (warning: lots of pics)

Well, I’m one of the many who purchased a fiberglass part for my Mustang only to have it fit like ****. In my case I purchased a fiberglass hood (the one with the frame) from Mustang’s Plus (MP). It looked good at the store, but was ¾ “ short when I got home. I was very disappointed in the...

    Cracked Lowering Blocks

Both of my 1" lowering blocks have cracked down the middle perpendicular to the leaf spring. I believe this is related to the arc of the spring and straightness of the lowering block - something had to give. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you correct it? I thought about...

    Uni-body twist versus HP

After installing my new 352 and roughly doubling my horsepower I’m curious if I should be concerned with permanent twisting of my 1966 uni-body? The car should max out around 450 hp, 425 ft/lbs based on similar builds. I have new 5-leafs and a 3/4” sway bar in the rear and 620s, 1”...
