March Performance power steering pulley stuck. Any Ideas?

Well my dumb**s went and stuck a new March Performance pulley on to a new power steering pump without thinking about getting the mounting bracket on first. No big deal right? Just take the pulley off. Oh no, no no no no... I wish it were that easy. While it wasn't hard to remove the old pulley...

    Horn Brush Question

Is the horn brush (The set of three spring loaded brass pins that touch the horn's contact plate) interchangable between a 1984 mustang and a 1990? I see a 1990 horn brush sitting in a salvage yard one city over, and I'd like to know if it'd work before I get pulling : D.

1984 Mustang Wiring Question (Pics provided)

I have a 1984 Mustang GT-350 Vert and I'm trying to identify a set of unhooked wires. You have a harness at the end, with a Yellow wire, the yellow wire is attached to a fusible link and a cruddy greenish wire. And there's a smaller yellowish/greenish wire coming out of a fusible link...

Mystery of the stalling/backfiring mustang(related pics inside of mystery part)

I posted earlier about a 1984 mustang GT that was randomly stalling out and occasionally backfiring through the carb. It has a Holley 4160 4 brl carb. We tested it for vaccum leaks and there doesn't appear to be any, and adjusting the timing has had no effect. A custom engine builder in...

    Carb'd 1984 Mustang PCV question

On my 1984 mustang Gt-350 I have a run of the mill Edelbrock 2121 intake and a Holley 600 cfm 4 brl 80457-7 type carb with an aftermarket adapter plate. The intake has no pcv hooked up, but I have one PCV valve on my passenger side valve cover going to my air cleaner. On the driver's side...

    Solved my stupid "Alternator-will-not-charge" problem.

Well, on my 1984 Mustang GT-350 I originally started with a 1g alternator that wasn't charging. So I thought "well, it must be the external voltage regulator." So I swapped that out, and nothing. Just a 12v reading from my multi-meter. So I thought, "damn, it may be the alternator!" So...

    External Voltage regulator wiring question

When I bought my 1984 GT-350 a little while ago it had two wires from the voltage regulator just kind of dangling there unhooked to anything. There's an orange and black one and a yellow one. What do they hook up to? Anyone know?

Need to buy a 1984 turn signal lever

Anyone know where I can buy a turn signal lever for an 84 GT vert? The car I'm working on right now is pretty FUBAR and doesn't have a lever. I see the 'C' chaped switches for sale everywhere but the lever that goes into it is hard to find. Looked on LMR and a bunch of other places but I'm...

The glorious death of yet another one of my cars. And the Purchse of an 84 Gt-350

Well, my old 90 mustang 5.0 was stolen a week or two ago and taken on a wild police chase during which they outran the police cruisers and got away. During the chase however, they tried to avoid the police helicopter by driving under a bridge over a railroad embankment and got the car stuck on...

    Speedometer Questions..

My speedometer needle is sticking since the last time I broke down and re-installed the instrument cluster. I know I should re-lubricate the cable. So my questions are: what do I use as a lubricant, where do I apply it, and how much do I use?
