    VCT cam solenoid short circuit

    My check engine light came on, got a code that says my intake cam position actuator circuit is open. A failed VCT solenoid. Car seems to run fine. Anyone know what's going on? This controls the variable cam timing?

    @%@^&$!! Wheel hop??

    Lower control arms I drive a 06, 5m GT and had bad wheel hop. I put on lowers only and it had absolutely no effect other than increase my suspension noise level to that of a 65 Dodge Polara Wagon. Still hops like a mofo, and now is louder than a mofo too. Think twice before you thro away...

    Just got my alternator replaced off warranty. No one makes them but Motorcraft and the damn things go for 535 bucks!!. My mechanic is an honest man and cut me a huge break and only charged me 50 buckd labor. But come on, $535 for a freakin' alternator?

    Getting Better Gas Mileage

    Believe it or not, gas for different stations comes off the SAME TAP. The additives are the difference. Most people refuse to believe this, but my buddy at the refinery swears it to be true. they just clean out the lines for the different octanes.

    Matching an STI

    That's a fast 60 time. Almost a 1/2 sec quicker than mine on stock tires. You'll beat most cars with that time.

    Matching an STI

    Something happened to the guy in the STI at the start. I've raced those cars and they'll take us at the start but we'll pull them in the 1/4. The 1/8th will be scarry with an STI. We need the second 1/8th to let pull them for sure.
