    ok few svo questions!

With the ford T3 turbo you have a good platform to start making some horsepower! I have not done this yet, I am still in the process of doing a turbo swap into my mustang, but I have read that if you have the t3 turbo, you gut and polish the upper intake, port and polish the lower intake, port...

    Cylinder head ?

or grab a head from the same car you have now at junk yard for $50 and have it tested for cracks. if it passes, and still want to go fast, its not that hard to port and polish. would just take a little time, but you could save a lot of money and still get better than stock airflow knowing it...

Engine throwing a bunch of codes

sometimes the throttle position sensor goes bad and can mess everything up. My mustang was throwing a bunch of codes like that a while ago too. I knew my o2 sensor had to be bad because it had never been changed that i know of. so i replaced that, cleaned the maf sensor and replaced the...

    What problems would I have?

it shouldn't cause any of that. what year is your mustang? the earlier models, mainly before 1991, have had good luck removing the system all together. I've herd you can do it to the 91-93 models, but have herd otherwise as well. sounds like you may have something else wrong. Is it throwing...

Having issues with my throttle position sensor

has anyone replaced a throttle position sensor on their mustang? I'm trying to replace mine and the screws turn REALLY hard. I was wondering if they used a type of lock tight at the factory when they put them in, or some kind of locking system. Also, there is a small label on the throttle...

    Oxygen Sensors

well im pretty sure it is the original sensor, and when i got my header i added wire to it so it would reach all the way down into the collector. I know they go bad over time so im going to get e new one, add wire to it, and put it back in. I was also wondering if it will still work if it just...

    Oxygen Sensors

Hey Guys, I have a few questions about oxygen sensors. First, I have an after market exhaust header on my fuel injected (non-turbo) 2.3 and the sensor is located in a different place so i need a longer than stock sensor. Can I add wire to a new stock sensor and make it work, or will that...

    2.3 non turbo into turbo?

yeah, your best bet is to rob an engine from either a turbo coupe or one of the svt mustangs that have the turbo already. then you have everything you need, engine, turbo, wiring harness, and all other parts of the drive line. I have found some of these at junk yards and can usually get the...

    Roadmaster Ford ReBulit Engines???

yes, however the lightning engines run with a forced air system (supercharged if i remember right) so they are built to run at a lower compression. I am going to run n/a with a carburetor, and would want a higher compression.

    Roadmaster Ford ReBulit Engines???

Hey I was cruising online for a 351 short or long block assembly and found a site called Roadmaster Ford Engines. I was wondering if anyone had gotten an engine from these guys before and how satisfied they were, or if anyone has heard of them, or any insight on the company. Any thoughts?

    Possible coil problem...

Hey Guys, I was wondering if there was a quick simple way the check the coils on the dual spark engine. I think those may be the problem, but would like to know for sure before i spend $100 at autozone for new. thanks! Tony

    engine not starting

im guessing you have a bad connection in your harness somewhere. something has to be loose in there if you able to move the wires around and get a connection. Might have to go through the entire harness to find the bad link

    EXPLORER A4LD SWAP

Im pretty sure its the same tranny. My mustang has the A4LD transmission and if your explorer has the 2.3 in it, should be an easy swap. The only thing im not sure about is if there is any different gearing between the mustang and explorer trans. Hope this helps.
