For sale is my garage kept Shelby GT500. I'm the only owner. I have all paperwork, manuals, dealer window sticker, etc. Car is a Louisiana purchase so no front plate installed. Mod recommendations for 87 GT

Not going to get into a big discussion but i will say that mustang65luvr is more right than wrong. It is possible to get gains from the SD but because of the limited range of adaptive stratagy the substantial modifications such as H/I/C may show gains but never reach there full potiential with...

why the hell wont my belt stop squealing?

Belt dressing in my opinion should be outlawed. Sorry to the supporters but belt dressing came out in the fiftys designed for natural rubber v belts not synthetic rubber serpintine belts. If you want to stop the squeak for a couple of days go ahead and use the dressing and then the problem will...

    C4 into a 93 fox

I agree great trans and bullit proof when built correctly but the rotating weight is so great that it can never be as efficient as a five speed or a C-4. Great trans either way great for daily driving and a little strip. I ran one for years. :nice:

    C4 into a 93 fox

If you use your car for a daily driver i would agree that the aod is better but if you can stand it the c-4 will give you 3-5 tenths in the 1/4 due to the reduced overall weight and mainly reduced rotating weight. The C-4 is also cheaper to build. I disagree on getting a small bell C-4 they...

Question about cams in Mach 1

I am asking this for a friend of mine. He just bought a 03 Mach 1 with a good bit of mods including cams, intake spacer ,cold air, ect. The problem is that the valvetrain is extremly noisy. Is this common with aftermarket cams installation to hear this alot more noise or can something be done...

Weirdness with my timing (I'ts me again).

i AGREE THAT IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE ON TIMING AND IT WILL RUN ON 40*. ALOT OF RACE CARS STAY FULL ADVANCE ALL THE TIME WHICH IS 34-42* RESPECTIVELY. AS FOR A COMPUTER PROBLEM PULLING THE SPOUT CONNECTOR ELIMINATES ALL COMPUTER CONTROL SO THIS WOULD NOT BE THE PROBLEM. IF...

    Disappointing Dyno Numbers 93 Cobra

    I will use my car as an example 2,800lbs. x (110 x 110) = 33,880,000 10,000 x 11.95 = 119,500 33,880,000 divided by 119,500 = 283.52 rwhp :nice:

    Disappointing Dyno Numbers 93 Cobra

This may not be the case BUT....... I worked on a dyno-jet dyno for two years and if all the info isn't entered into the computer correctly the numbers will be out of whack. We would play with the numbers when a ricer would come in we would make the reading high like 400rwhp and then let him...

    Gt 40 Intake

 It faces the same direction. Other that apperance the gt-40, exporer and cobra intakes utilize the exact same runner design. You must be thinking of a non-H.O. 5.0 it is the only one that faces a different direction.

    Odometer

To my knowledge there is no way without some really special tools that i doubt can be found very easily. Here at my shop we sent them to Lauderdale speedometer and they repair them ,but they are very cautious and will not adjust readings unless two clusters are sent and then they will match if...
