    The man that I bought my 65 fastback from, had another 65 fastback, only a v6, but it only had 13,000 original miles. Everything in this car was orignial. All interior lights work, when you opened the door, the door popped open. It was truely an amazing sight especially for the price he got it for!

    That would work, but if the previous paint is laquer, you will have a nasty time. Thus, it'd be better to stick with laquer. Many vendors such as myself, sell the original colors. If you take it down to metal, primer, then u can use the enamel.
