    OBD I or OBD II???

I was under the impression none of the calibrator things from anyone would work on anything under '99. Does this mean there is something out there you can use to hook up a laptop to an older stang?

    OBD I or OBD II???

OBD-II I found this out cause I assumed everyone was right with the '96+ thing so I bought a cheap one at Wal-Mart only to find the connector under the dash is a 16-pin OBD-II.

Air filter got soaked in the rain

Heet is basically the same thing as far as taking moisture out of your gas. I just don't understand how it was that bad unless the puddle was deep enough to reach your fender and this person kept driving through it.

Whats average h/p for super charged v6's

    11psi is a lot for 300rwhp.

Air filter got soaked in the rain

Water in your engine can be the end of it if its bad enough. That happened to me last time I went 4Wheelin in my other vehicle and it ran like crap cause of the water in the fuel. You can buy stuff called Heet at Walmart which works great.

    Fuel mpg and range

Once upon a time at a point at which my car was apparently at its pinnacle of mechanical and electrical efficiency, I got 35mpg. I was amazed when we were headed to Branson and on the way back I still had half a tank and a bit over 250 miles on the trip odometer.

    Fuel mpg and range

I probably need to check things too cause I used to do almost 400 to E and now its maybe 300. Thats about half highway and city with generous driving. Stupid sensors.....

Whats average h/p for super charged v6's

It all depends, the current setup that guy is selling reaches full boost at 2500 which isn't bad. If you have a 3000 stall converter in an automatic, you launch with everything and even a stick it wouldn't be bad assuming you had traction with a 3000 launch.

    True Dual

Nope, the fact that people are still starting new threads asking questions that have been beaten to death, revived, and beaten to death again is whats crap. Thats why a lot of people including myself aren't around here much. 90% of the threads are basic questions like this or general questions...

Whats average h/p for super charged v6's

That turbo guy was 275 with only 4.4psi which is much easier on the motor and if you like reliability, you'll like lower psi.

Whats average h/p for super charged v6's

Check out this website and read the first thing under the pictures. If you are looking into a '99+ V6 then you would be somewhere around what that guy is making on a completely stock motor with that turbo kit.

    '95 3.8L dropped a cylinder?

Make that a teaspoon of oil and if compression comes up to about norm its a piston ring problem. The valves won't be affected by adding oil so that could still be an issue.

    '95 3.8L dropped a cylinder?

You could put a tad bit of oil in that cylinder with the low pressure and test it again. If it jumps up to about what the others are or more with oil in it, its a sealing problem.

    '95 3.8L dropped a cylinder?

A compression test will give you a good idea of whats goin on. My original motor only lasted 80K thanks to Ford engineering, but it knocked and smoked.

    Ford Aluminum Driveshaft!

A safety loop is a waste of time and the shaft shouldn't cost that much. I got mine from Summit for $160 shipped and it fit without a problem on my '95 auto. I wouldn't expect to feel any gains, but it did smooth out higher speed stuff such as on the highway. I still have my FRPP box with the...

    Questions about V6 mustangs

A lot of people prefer NOT to have t-lok on snow/ice cause with it your back end will tend to slide all over the place. If both of your tires are on ice you are kinda worse off with one, but its an opinion thing. Its not too hard to get a '99+ v6 to outrun a '94-8 v8. Its the '94-8 v6's that...
