    Tires For 3 Season Driving

The BFGs were my second choice. I am in NE too and have yet to notice any major change in the Nittos with the cooler morning temps I too park the car for the winter, so really once October is done and it is COLD in the mornings, I will be off the road. Between now and then if I notice any...

    Cats Or No Cats

I agree they are pricey and I have never tried any of the brands that you mentioned, but reading online I decided to just wait til I could get the one I really wanted, not the least expensive immediately, and I have no regrets- the Magnaflow is worth the money. On top of everything I already...

    Cats Or No Cats

I went back and forth with the same decision and in the end didn't want to have to constantly swap out an off road for emissions testing. I went with the Magnaflow Catted Tru-X and I love it. I had the factory H and then the MRT catted H all paired with my same Steeda cat back. The Magnaflow...

    Tires For 3 Season Driving

After having the NT 555G2's for a week I can say without a doubt I am thrilled. The car feels so much more planted, corners much more confidently and has GREATLY reduced slippage on wet pavement. (The car will be parked as always for winter so the lack of cold performance will not be an issue...

    Tires For 3 Season Driving

I decided on Nitto 555G2's after reading online, speaking with my tire guy and calling Nitto. I will hopefully have them installed on Wednesday and will update with my initial reaction.

    Tires For 3 Season Driving

Thanks guys for the replies and possibilities. I am doing some online research to compare the tires that my tire guy can get (I get a good deal, so have to stay with what he can get) and going from there. I hope to narrow it down by Monday. Thanks again.

Junior's Dad Messed Up Again With The Cars...

Welcome to the site. Is the car a GT? EIther way, an aftermarket H or X with cats is a good choice if you plan to leave on the cats. I found a Magnaflow high flow catted X (which I LOVE!) on Amazon last summer on clearance, so if you can hunt it out, you may be able to find a deal. Good luck!

    Tires For 3 Season Driving

So when I bought my car it came with Fierce brand tires. They appear to be summer tires. They have always been terrible in the rain. I drive the car basically April - November. It never sees snow, but occasionally does get caught in the rain. I want a good performing tire, but also one that...

SOLD Mrt Catted H-pipe 99=04 Mustang With Replacement High Flow Cats

For Sale: MRT Maxflow stainless steel high flow H pipe for 99-04 V8 Mustangs. I ran it on my car for about six years. The cats themselves are less than a year old and passed CT emissions this summer. They are high flow and have been fully welded in. I decided it was time for a change and went to...

    Steeds Vs Bama

I bought the SCT X4 handheld from Steeda this past spring with an 87 and 93 tune for my 04 auto. As far as actual HP or TQ gained, I don't know how much it really is. However, the shift points and throttle response are worth it in and of themselves IMO. I recently had to return to the stock...

    Magnaflow Catted X - Discontinued

Is anyone running or have had experience with the discontinued Magnaflow catted X part #16430? I am wondering if it fits an '04 and will the "race style" converters cause the CEL to trip / can it pass OBDII emissions? Thanks.

    Exhaust Midpipe- Looking For Thoughts

Hi all, So I have had an MRT catted H and the Steeda catback (straight through design - similar to Borla Touring) on my 04 GT since the year I bought it (7 years ago). It was not the loudest, but made me happy enough. One of the cats failed so I had a local shop weld in two high flow cats to...

    Opinions For Winter Projects

Just wanted to update- Decided after research and talking to the guys at Steeda to go with their full length subframes and g-trac bar underneath (car now feels so much more planted and more solid than it ever has- especially at launch, hard braking, over bumps and in corners- they made a WORLD...

    Led Headlight Replacement Bulbs

Has anyone replaced their head or fog lights bulbs with the LED replacements from American Muscle or LMR? I am not changing the housings, just the bulbs. If so...thoughts?

    Opinions For Winter Projects

Thanks for the reply. The subframes and anti-roll are more or less a done deal (in the respect that I made up my mind). The tune I am only hesitant because I don't want to lose the comfortable drivability of the car. When you say it shifts hard, is that mainly at WOT or all the time? I only...

    Opinions For Winter Projects

first off thanks for reading this. My 04 GT automatic is parked for the winter and staring at it instead of driving it has me thinking of mods. So I am in search of opinions and advice. I did search the forums but didn't see specifics of my 2 questions. 1- the car is lowered with FRPP C...

    Mach 460 Sound System Question

I have an 04 with the mach460 and added an auxillary input to the satellite radio port. When I push the 'sat" button it reads "aux" and runs to a 3.5mm jack that I can plug into any ipod, iphone, etc. I cannot for the life of me remember the part number or where I got it other than I did a...

    My Progress Thread.

Looking good!! One other thing on the grille and chin spoiler. Those grille pins are definitely easy to break as said above. Also, the chin spoiler I bought came with a similar type of pins. I used small stainless nuts and bolts on mine instead and have had zero issues. Worth the $4 or so...

    Quick Spring Question

I was waiting for someone to comment on that! Actually I had the rotors resurfaced and then brought her home and washed her. I don't know if it was the wheel cleaner, water, or both but they turned color immediately. I have since drove it off!!
