If you are removing the hub from the from the drum just lay it on the ground, with the dust cover off, put a 2x4 over the hub and smack it with a small 3# hammer. The hub should seperate from the drum. But you need to press the studs out. Also you need to get the hub and studs pressed back in...

Did you preasure test the sytem with the valve covers off? If you went through to a coolent passage you should get some form of report at the push rod hole you went through. I would think if you are hearing the air in the valley it ain't the push rod clearencing that is the problem.

+1 I used it on the seat in the 67 15 years ago. If I wouldn't have wanted to go to the stock 2 tone colors it still looked pretty good. The prep is deffinately the key.

Have a set sitting next to the 67 waiting to be installed when I get around to working on her again this spring. They look to be very good quality.

Will the rockers work with these heads?

They are not adjustable up and down, but you can get a lowering mount bracket for them. Meaning the frame mount sits lower, nice if you need the hood clearance.
