    You should consider looking at the rear end. 8.8 rear > 7.5 rear. 86 works fine, I have an 86 in an 88 mustang now. Look for an LA3 & intercooler as first "upgrade" -Nick

    this swaps been done many a time. take the whole motor; drop the ecu from under the dash; maybe the rear end (8.8" and hopefully disc); part out the rest of the car. Compression check the TCoupe motor before You pull it. This way You'll have a good idea of wether or not You have to tear it...

    Getting the starter off.

    get the top bolt from the above. if You have to, pull the exhaust manifold and reah right between the block & mani., but it shouldnt have to resort to that.

    87-88 TC's are IHI's. Shuck that and pick up an earlier T3. The pistons are the difference in the motor. You'll need an ECU, VAM, Injectors, etc. Just get a donor car and pull everything from it, wheel the cherry picker around and drop it into Your car. Turboford.org is Your NEW BEST...

    Smog & A/C Elim - Did some searching

    Did some searching for A/C, AC Elim, AC Delete, Parasitic... Also searched rangerstation.com. :D So, anyone delete the AC or smog off the 2.3? With ready made parts? '88 2.3. Thanks -Nick

    I've decided to turbo my n/a 2.3L 91 motor

    Mani should bolt up. I wouldnt run more then 8 psi on the stock compression. At least not without a nice IC. get some kind of fuel mgmt, some forged pistons, and and the most efficient IC You can fit. With all of that... Good Luck :) -Nick

    Yesterday I dad a friend play with the pedal while I was under her - the cable moves fine at the tranny. Which leads me to believe its not the cable or quadrant. I've kicked the pedal free as well, no gain. I was thinking that the clutch could be down to the rivets, but as was pointed out...
