I am going to be replacing my front and rear windshield seal in my 68 coupe. I have seen a few older muscle cars were they just glued the glass in like they do on modern cars. Is this possible for my car or do I need to use the seals. :shrug:

I am in the Coast Guard and we use interlux polys on all of our fleet touch up jobs. It turns out smooth as glass! I am definately going to try this on my stang!

what's the price range on this set-up and when will the be ready for sale?

I have seen an 80's mustang set up used with the brake lever mounted on the tunnel. Much cheaper than the lokar set up.

I put Por-15 on my fllorpans after I replaced them. So far a year and a half into the rainy north west and no problems.

Mustang Monthley has the 67 vert eleanor pics, maybe that would give you some idea.

When I did mine, I unbolted the regulator and slid the glass out of the track and then unbolted the track.

I have installed a few fiberglass parts. I have worked with maier racing and fiberglass specialists pieces. Both of which I had no problem with. Any fiberglass piece requires some work for a good fit.

I do respratory protection in the military. Some of the old paint and especially two part primers can contain lead and zinc and other bad stuff. Would recommend a half face with n95 or p95 dust filters.

Did the $3000 include wet sanding and buffing?

Having tried all of the above methods of removing spot welds, and after lots of frustration. I recommend the spot weld cutter in the Eastwwod catalog the cuts around the spot weld verses throught it. Then you just grind it off! Have used mine 300+ times and still works great!

I know a guy who wanted to put a 4 banger diesel in and run bio-diesel through it. Don't know if he ever did it though.

I plumbed my 68 from tank to carb with 6an braided hose and fittings from Summit. they worked great and are just as good as aeroquip. Save your self some time and headache and buy the hose cutter!

the LH fender on my 68 coupe has a parking light just below the bumper and the RH side does not. Which is the correct fender for that year?
