haha thanks :) Again, if anyone wants it, I'm trying to get some input on what to add / modify before I throw it everywhere.

    Bored at work yesterday...

So I decided to create a turbocharger calculator. Unfortunately, I can't get to any google docs or the like to link the excel file to you (stupid websense), but I have a screenshot and will be doing exactly as stated above once I get home from work today. It all started as me doing...

    Driving Mustang 1500 Miles...How Should I Prepare?

I wouldn't bypass the core if I were you... it's getting cold in MI and I'm sure weather's about the same just east of us.

SVT tech, please look at TPS readings.

Well the boost and fuel pressure holding steady definitely close a lot of doors on the problem... i'm still thinking one or more COPs are not necessarilly bad, but limping.

    Coolant flush write up???

Yeppers... but all that dude on the link did was fill it up to the cap on the radiator and let it burp it out while running the system low.

With your gauge can you check A/F? Also is there any rough/varying RPM at idle? Any codes? If our cars didn't have COPs I would think it would be one of the coils but with the severity of the bucking you're talking about, it'd have to be a number of the coil over plugs... Of course if your A/F...

    Whats the issue?

SVT tech, please look at TPS readings.

It's perfectly fine. The reading from 17% closed to 92% WOT is a percentage reading from 0 to 5 volts... it's not REALLY how much it's open persay... The TPS is a potentiometer that, with the throttle opening, changes its voltage accordingly from around .7~1.1v at idle to around 4.4~4.6v at...

    recommended tires

If you're very serious in cornering grip and all-around crazy hooking tires (mind you they won't last a while...) get some Bridgestone Potenza RE-01Rs. They're expensive as hell, don't last long at all (I'd say a year if you're a driver like most of us here...) but I'll be damned if they haven't...

Any real chance of engine damage?

Or head gasket :P srsl though... the compression test is just a double check. If your cars running, and not making any death notes, you're perfectly fine.

Any real chance of engine damage?

Just go grab a compression tester from autozone or something for 20 bucks... it's easy as pie for these cars. Takes about 45 minutes if youve ever changed your plugs before. Some people say to grab an exact amount of spikes of the needle, like around 6, and some people say to keep cranking the...

    Ticking sounds...

If you live in a place that stays pretty warm try a 20W50 oil... your lifters are probably dry. Same thing happened on my stang last summer, switched to a heavier weight oil and the sound went away somewhat. Just make sure you don't have 20W50 oil in the engine when you first start it on a...

    Nitrous oxide questions

Haha, this is why Kev = the MAN! Hey Kev, I'm thinking about doing the wiring in this way, tell me what you think. EDIT: I would of course be putting in the necessary fuses and hook the arm switch and button in to a power source the way the kit tells me to do it, this is more along the...
