With the LT"s and exhaust you have I would imagine that your CEL will stay on till you get some MIL's or just turn the sensor off with a tune.

It depends on what he wants for his truck... personally I think cold air systems are really over rated and that the money could be better spent in other place for increasing horsepower. Now if he wants it for looks then yeah it's one of the most obvious performance mods

+1 sounds like a miss to me. a lot of times when you have a miss it only occurs at low RPMs, and gets better as you accelerate.

+1 You guys are really splitting hairs over this one. :chair: I went to a local exhaust shop and they built me a O/R X Pipe and installed it for 75$ and it's just as good as the 200$ +, X-pipes all these other companies make.

honestly I would spent my money on something else that would show some results. Such as: Subframes, gears, chip/tuner.

I had to get a wheel stud at autozone the other day I just told them I had a gt and it was in there computer but I can't recall the size. Just give them a call

since you have the 98 I think you should prob go for a head swap

My next door neighbor just got done installing his. Matter of fact he just got it cranked the past thursday. I can't wait to go for a ride with him. This weekend he's going to try to get it on a dyno and tune it. I can get you some pics and numbers if you want.
