DSS 347 Longblock ... reasonable price?

That seems disgustingly high for the heads, I cant believe that they put in $1300 or so in labor to justify that big of a price gauge over what you can get them for from about a dozen businesses in MMFF mag. I would continue to search or find out from them exactly how they are coming to that...

    What should this GT run?

5,500 miles on a 4 year old car?? I would be skeptical about that, especially if he/she is willing to let it go for $13. Clean title??? Just make sure you carfax this before you get it. Good Luck!

Clutch replaced now everything vibrates really bad!!!!

The car is vibrating when I "get on it" so i would imagine that its RPM related, but only under moderate to hard acceleration.

Clutch replaced now everything vibrates really bad!!!!

well just like the title says, i had my clutch replaced about 2 weeks ago and now when i accelerate hard, it feels like my whole car is vibrating. I had the clutch, flywheel and pilot bearing replaced. I have no idea what it is, all i know is that before i had this changed, it was much...

    03 snake vs. CTSV

98snake is right, those things can hook. I have raced a few. The ones I raced with street tires, i lost big time from no traction. Once I got dr's, that was a different story. I have driven one before and the one thing I can say about it is the power is very very smooth. You would never...

Clutch just replaced, now car seems slower????

no, i dont think so, it pulled much harder than it does now. Also, i know a heavier flywheel causes power loss to the wheels, but i dont think it would be this much. WHat about break in?

Clutch just replaced, now car seems slower????

Ok, so just like the title says, I get back in after having the clutch replaced, along with the flywheel, rear main seal, pressure plate, TOB, and pilot bearing. Anyways, for some reason, it just seems slower. Is this just psycho-somatic or can this be an need to let the clutch break in? I...

    Clutch and Clutch cable blues.....

It is an stock OEM replacement from Ford. This was replaced by my father in law, who has been a mechanic for 30+ years so installation is not an issue. Can the heat from the header/engine cause the cable to lengthen a short bit and therefore render my firewall adjustment crap?
