i plan to redo my entire exhaust setup using racer walsh headers and a flowmaster muffler
my question is this
if i replace the two factory catalytic converters with one high flow converter will i still pass emissions?
since you just got done with exhaust mods i would check your 02 sensor and possibly
check your converters if they are bad they could cause slow acceleration
my factory gage sits right in the middle between high and low
correct oil pressure is very important so i would really look into this
ps are you sure youre looking at the right gage the only gage of mine that says normal anywhere on it is the coolant temp gage
check your MAF
i had these symptoms
- check eng light would come on if i went past 2500 rpm in any gear (with no performance change)
- slight stumble at idle plus sub par acceleration
- just recently a stalling condition at...
im sorry i dont know why i thought that the n/a 4 cyl came with forged pistons
gotta stop smoking so much :D
in either case the cast pistons that come stock can handle a reasonable amount of nitrous, i know mine have
quickest and easiest way to get power is nitrous
a custom setup can be done relatively cheap
every other mod costs way too much for little to no gain in hp
the stock forged pistons were built to handle n2o and from what ive seen in my own car they handle it well
