Ya I went to look at it at school and I thought my computer messed up. Also both .org and .net both worked as of yesterday. So I have no clue whats happening also for you turbo guys. My stang just blew through #1 and #2 cylinder. So much fun.

My clutch had the same problem but I put in a new clutch, pressure plate, and a thowout bearing and all the noises stopped. So I had no clue what had happened.

or if you want even more power get a DOHC from england off of a cosworth might cost a pretty penny but you cant beat it.

ya sounds like the HL it should clear up by itself but then again 130000 on the motor with stockers. might need to change them. and they are very simple to chnage you can do it in a day.

well yes the turbo motors had different valves but they had the same comprestion ration which was 9:1.

the ranger if you use the rollers you will have less friction so less cam wear and somewhat cooler oil temps. and yes it will just slide in there.

hell ya carbed 2.3 turbos are the ****nit. lol they are a blast though beter then N/A because about 50 more HP stock and if modded. lots of power, i mean not as much as EFI but the carbed 2.3 T are gettin real rare.

acctually 76 mph is pretty good cause my 79 with a 2.3 turbo runs that in the quarter with 8 PSI and you could turn the boost to about 15 with no problems. and if the motor has no goodies on it then you ran well.

I have a 79 pinto head ill sell looks to be in good condition cant see any cracks in it either.

my 79 turbo mustang is rated at 28 on the highway and about 14 in town but hey if you got the turbo you gotta use it

ok the other day i adjusted my timing because my cam was off one tooth and i fixed it but i noticed for the disributor/oil pump/fuel pump there is no timing mark on the metal piece behind all the gears. but the gear looks identical to the one for the cam but there is no timing mark? will this...

well i know a guy who used to live in england and he said he used to put these heads and 2 weber carbs on the 2.3 and get 300HP and i believe it cause hes had some fast cars.

the 79s had 9:1 compression and yes the 79 are worth lookin for because they are rare i mean it is the cobra would be beter if it was the pace car. And u never know u might like the carbed setup. the reason why the carbed turbos dont make as much as the EFI turbos is because the EFIs are pushing...

Mybe its the O2 sensor just an idea :shrug:

ANybody on this forum running the carbed 2.3 setup? Im just curious cause i am and they are rare cause hardly anybody uses them.
