    Rear drum brakes don't seem to be working. What did I do wrong?

    Are they self adjusting? Pull it out in the street and back up, then hit the brakes a few times. That might tighten em down for you.

    Just by visual I would say 66, because they didn't have backup lights in 65, but that would be an easy addition, so it could be a 65.

    How much HP to an 8 inch rearend

    To go along with this thread, How often is a shot of nitrous (lets say 150 shot) going to break an 8", lets say, hitting it half way down the track, behind a 300hp 289 with a 2500 stall C4, on regular ****ty street tires? I would assume it would get loose in the ass but not hurt anything?

    Brake Help.

    Ya, sorry. The brake BOOSTER is new. That wheels cylinders went out, and we replaced them. The MC is an original style single reservoir. I haven't had time to check and see if the shoes are backwards. Hopefully I can look at it sometime today or tomorrow. If it helps, when pressure builds...

    Magnaflow or flowmaster???

    Agreed. Hell they sound fine with any cheap ass muffler too. I've got some cherry bombs, $20 mufflers on mine and I think it sounds pretty damn good. Haven't gotten around to upgrading to magnaflows yet.
