Need to find the inner tie rod roll pin/rivets

Bought a nice set of Moog inner tie rod ends ('89 Mustang), only problem is they are missing the little rivets that hold the nut from turning on the rack. Does anybody here know where I can buy these? Anybody try tapping the holes and using set screws? TIA, Scott

Caltrac transfer link lock nuts & preload?

Just got a set of Caltracs today. Noticed there are only lock nuts at the front spring pivot end of the transfer link. For those of you that have had these on for a while, have you noticed any wear in the thread 'serts at the shackle end of the transfer link? Is there a reason not to use...

Question on Heel toe, and the 2-3 upshift

I've had a T-5z in my '66 for a while now, and am starting to work on heel-toe, and quicker shifting. I'm struggling with consistency on the heel-toe and 2-3 upshift (seperate issues). My questions are: 1). how many of you with classic Mustangs, have changed your pedal stops and...

Anybody running a 19:1 FR box with quick steer kit?

'66 Mustang with 225/55WR16 P Zero M+S (not mounted yet). for touring the 16:1 will be a bit much. But I'm thinking that the 19:1 with a quick steer kit, may be just what Goldilocks ordered. If my calculations are correct it would be just a touch over 3.5 turns lock to lock, and that...

?? centering wheel over K.P. axis

Getting ready to do disk brake conversion (which means new wheels as well). Have a question for the road racing group. As far as backspacing goes, are you attempting to keep the center of the wheel over the axis line formed by the line that runs vertically through the ball joints, or are you...
