Loud noise in bell housing area

My 2000GT has been doing this since about August. It started as an awful squeaking like a pulley was bad, and went away after 5 minutes of warm up time. The car has been idle for a month and I just started it to change the oil. The noise was very prominent and I had the chance to get under...

    5w20, better gas mileage?

If I ran 5w20 synthetic instead of 5w30 Mobil 1, would I get better gas mileage like some suggest? It seems like that is what I am reading as the reason for the switch in Ford putting it in the newer cars. What are your thoughts? My Ford Escape calls for 5w20 so I could just buy the same...

White Letter tires on our cars???

Anyone run white letter tires on our cars? Ive seen the NASCAR tires on a Monte and thought they were "unique". I'm honestly undecided if I like this look or not. I can;t find any tires in the performance category with this look so I'm thinking its a moot point.
