    Nothing seems bent. I will try to post some pics later tonight. The problem with clamps is that you cant get clamps between these to panels. Thats why I was trying to push them together and use screws. To hold them.

    yeah the driver side is gone, I was able to just pull on the hat a little and it came right off. There is only about a dime sized hole on the passenger hat and then a fair amount of pitting.

    k code would be in the vin to designate the original engine in the car. The numbers on the block would be behind the starter, but could pull a valve cover and check the heads for numbers as well

    when you guys talk about the bedding/glazing compound what kinda tubes are you referring to cuz when I did my front I bought 2 tubes and it was way to much. Mine came in large tubes for a caulk gun. Are you guys talking about smaller squeeze tubes?

    i have seen 1 engine where you couldnt tell there was water in the oil by checking the dipstick. You could do an oil change to get a better look at the oil.
