Progress Thread Barn Find - Twilight Blue 1991 GT 5spd

Before going through to much work of replacing that core support I would look to see if it would straighten out. If this is not going to be a show car that section is not going to be seen once the radiator is in place. I would put a piece of wood on your jack and position it in the center and...

Progress Thread '88 GT Hell Horse - All over the place

Made some more progress on the car. Got the car the rest of the way stripped down removing the stock fuel lines, throttle cable, etc so that I could work on getting the engine in the car. Pulled the engine off the stand and installed the rear main seal and flexplate, so I could start working...

    Megasquirt Digital Dash

I accidently forgot to click upload. They are attached to my previous post now. It depends on which model of the DD-EFI Dash that you have the Standard or the Pro Dash. The Pro Dash has an internal I/O Module just for being able to bring in Digital Inputs (Turn Signals, High Beams, etc) and...

    Megasquirt Digital Dash

You have done a pretty good job on your dashboard. I have attached some turn signal and high beam icons for you. You can also use indicators with no text and black background to cover anything that you don't want to see, but you will have to remove the needle and overlay another gauge on top...

There currently is not an option to use an input to handle User Actions within TunerStudio. This has to be manually done by like said above touchscreen swipe or using a keyboard/mouse to change between the tabs. If TunerStudio provides this option we will for sure be using it.

Progress Thread '88 GT Hell Horse - All over the place

Now that the engine is pretty much ready to go. It is time to put some effort into the engine bay to make room for the turbo thats going in, so the body saw came out and a big hole in the apron there is now. I did get Scoot Rod panels for the car, so once everything is built turbo wise I can...

Progress Thread '88 GT Hell Horse - All over the place

With the intake all ready to go I got the lower painted (not the upper yet as I am working on something special for it). Got it installed along with the fuel rails to get us to were it is now.

Progress Thread '88 GT Hell Horse - All over the place

The next project was to finish working on the intake. Since I am using the Ford Tubular Intake, I already port matched the upper tubes to the gasket. The main work was that was needing to be done was on the lower intake. There was a lot of material that needs to come off especially on the...

Now that the valve covers were ready to go it was time to button up the rest of the Longblock.

Progress Thread '88 GT Hell Horse - All over the place

Before I could assemble the Longblock I had to of course check for pushrod lengths and piston-to-valve clearance. The picture below shows the miles of room that I have due to the large 13cc dished pistons that I'm running. This will be a 9:1 compression build giving it plenty of room for the...

Progress Thread '88 GT Hell Horse - All over the place

To say the least things have been quite busy the last few months as I can see that my thread hasn't been updated in quite awhile. There has been some progress over the last couple of months since it has warmed up. The main project was the assembly of the Shortblock. Here are some pictures of...

    The Gauge Cluster Conundrum

Most likely is the dimmer switch and there is a "super technical way" to fix it too. You do not need any tools FYI. Open the Driver Side Door Locate the Dimmer Switch just left of the steering wheel Take your index finger and scroll the wheel all the way to the left Then scroll the wheel all...

That's for sure. Its easy to make something work one-time by one person than it is to make something that anyone can do it repeatable 100% of the time.
