    I'd go Trick Flow Street Heat intake with the XE270HR Comp Cams camshaft or a custom one if you want to go that route. Can't go wrong custom, though.

    I can get the heads for around $1200. They made the most lowend of all the heads tested in the mm&ff sbf head comparison and this was with a static compression ratio of 8.7:1 compared to the AFRs 9.5:1 I believe.     I'd go ahead and rebuild it. I got a full rebuild kit from FelPro through Summit for $292.xx change. Came with Speed Pro rings/bearings and a full FelPro gasket set.

    5.8 AND E7 HEADS...?

    A 5000rpm redline probably. Technically I do believe they'll fit, but the heads will have to be drilled for the larger bolt holes of a 351. You're way, way better off just getting 351 heads. They can't be much higher if any higher than E7s and they should be easy to find.

    Spacers for clutch quadrant

    I've got a UPR triple hook that I'll be putting in as soon as I can remove the damn little piece of the quadrant from my clutch pedal called a pawl. Somebody said I'd need spacers for the new quadrant. Is this true and what size do I need and where do I get them if I do?

    There was a rubber piece in the firewall that's gone and a plastic piece that's still on there that meets the FWA.
