Great Project! Looks like superior workmanship. You'll be happy with the car when done. A bit of personal experience, I tried to install a Trickflow intake on my 66. The 'chef's hat' upper is VERY wide. Much wider than stock, or even other aftermarkets like Edelbrock or Cobra copies. You...

What do 1G, 3G, etc mean on alternators?

I don't know if that's much of a problem tho, whenever I start mine it usually buzzes up enough to energize the alternator.

    Restomod Radios, Gauges, etc...

I had a CAS unit and it stunk. no range, poor quality.... had to toss it. My opinion is that unless you've got a concours car, go ahead and cut the dash and install a nice DIN style radio like a Pioneer and be happy....they look fine.

Has anyone used ultrastang rear disc brake conversion brackets

I've got them on my 65 fastback. Have been quite pleased. Steve's install is very straight forward. I did go through a set of calipers by not setting them up correctly the first time. Good thing Autozone has a replacement policy*S* http://www.midnightdsigns.com/Mustang/Rear_Brakes.htm

Granada Discs, T5 question, Pan Rust Question

I changed my I-6 front end over using Granada spindles. I just changed the whole steering to V8 at the same time. Inner/outer tie rods, draglink, and Idler all at once. No need for shims. The only tunnel work I had to do when I put in my T5 was to open up the shifter hole a smidge...

    Oil pan gasket question

The Felpro one piece metal reinforced silicone unit is really nice. you just stick it on using the 4 holding guides that are supplied with the gasket. It has a metal core, so all you can't overtighten. Be sure to surgically clean your block surface and your pan lip. Also use a touch of...
