    Tremec TKO in a 1970 Mustang?

    Adjustable brake proportioning valve - where did you mount yours?

    That is what I've done. I haven't finished things out yet but I ran out of the MC, through a line lock, to a T for the front and to the adjustable prop value and then to rear. Should work. -Stephen

    Excellent - I think I'll go that way. Actually I have no issues with the ports being on the other side, it will makes things easier to plumb for the porportioning valve and line lock in the long run. Thanks guys! -Stephen

    Wow.. It looks like on my 69 with a stock booster there is only 7 1/2" from the booster face to the tower. I'm not sure how I could get the extra length to work without notching the tower. Fun fun... Looking for more options I guess. -Stephen

    SURPRISE! piece of piston in my oil pan

    At least you have been lucky enough in that the piece (or pieces in some cases) didn't make their way to the oil pickup, starve it, and take a bearing down. That's how I lost my first stock 351 in the 70's. I haven't run a cast piston since. Hopefully there aren't any more just hanging on. You...

    Ack.. I do the same thing with my foot when I drop things and have worried I will someday react with the wrong item. Maybe I can 'learn from others' like I tell my son and stop that habit. Happy healing :( -Stephen

    Sick Stewart-Warner '68 cluster for the blue fastback

    Good to see those gauges in a cluster. I had looked at the SW series since AutoMeter doesn't seem to make a 5" 8000 rpm in dash unit and I don't want/need a 10K tach. Nice work.. as usual :) -Stephen

    Great info on JamesW's site: Main EFI here: http://www.midnightdsigns.com/Mustang/Engine.htm I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty straight forward. You'll need the VSS unit as well. -Stephen

    Yeah but "US Mags" where THE wheel to have back in those days... damn I'm old. Actually I have a couple pairs of 15 x 8's, some 14 x 7's, 15 x 4.5's and some 14 x 10's in that same style... and they are on any cars.. lol (running cars that is) -Stephen

    Wow.. sorry to hear that. Father/son memories eh? We've had lots of problems here in Shawnee as well. My wife even stuck the pickup in the yard the other night... and didn't tell me until bed time.. :( Glad to hear you all are ok.. that is what matters most. -Stephen
